Furnaces
Gas Furnaces
Did you know that by the end of 2009, Canadian Companies will no longer be able in import or manufacture mid-efficiency furnaces? Well, at Emke Schaab, we already sell only hi-efficiency furnaces, so as one of our customers you don't have to worry about this.
The best part about our hi-efficiency models is they save you money in the long run and right now! All four models we offer qualify for both manufacturer and government grants. Plus, the higher efficiency models cost less to run than the older units. This means your gas bill will decrease when upgrading your furnace.
Ask our salespeople for an overspend calculation during your quote to find out what you could be saving!
Oil Furnaces
Emke Schaab has many certified oil technicians who are not afraid to get dirty! So, we are happy to offer the sale of Newmac oil furnaces, and others upon request.
If you are looking for an oil furnace, make sure that you know what type of furnace you require, whether it is strictly oil, an oil/wood or an oil/wood/coal combination. Be sure to consider the resources available to you and the time you have to maintain your home heating level.
Air Handlers
Sometimes referred to as electric furnaces, air handlers do the same job a different way. The air handler contains a coil and is used for cooling or heating applications. An electric furnace contains an electric heat kit instead of the coil.
Air Handlers work well with heat pumps and hi-efficiency air conditioners. They are convenient to install, as an air handler does not require venting like an oil or gas furnace does.
