Warm, winter comfort designed to
fit your home and your budget.

ECONOMY
Life always throws you a couple of curve balls, so it's comforting to know that Carrier continues to offer affordable products with rock-solid reliability like the 58STA.
When winter arrives with its cold and snow, your furnace is the last thing you need to worry about. That's why so many homeowners trust Carrier with their indoor comfort needs. Carrier offers 100 years of indoor comfort, innovation, and we put that expertise to work in every product we create, including the 58STA gas furnace. This furnace is the evolution of one of our most reliable and popular 80% AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) gas furnaces. We took an excellent design and made it better, adding extra-quiet performance and a more compact, versatile cabinet that helps make the 58STA an excellent fit for your comfort.

EXTRA QUIET
Carrier makes a lot of noise about keeping you comfortable, but be assured that the 58STA takes a more subtle approach.
In fact, this model is a member of one of the quietest families of standard 80% AFUE furnaces available. To achieve such low noise operation, our engineers did their homework, digging deep into the old design, and making improvements in several areas. Burner, inducer and fan enhancements are the highlights of what we call our QuieTechTM system. Regardless of the details, we're confident that you'll be pleased with the results. These are the types of innovations that have earned Carrier a century of success.

VERSATILITY
Every home is unique, so we've developed a furnace that is so versatile, it feels like a custom fit even in the most challenging installation.
When the previous generation of 80% AFUE furnaces were introduced, we were excited about offering a 40-inch tall cabinet. Now, with a redesigned heat exchanger, the 58STA stands just 33 1/3 inches to fit into even tighter spaces with room for an air cleaner or other accessory equipment. This model also installs in all four standard positions with thirteen venting options for less time-consuming installations. You may ask yourself, "Why would Carrier take a proven design and make all of these changes?" The answer is simple. No matter how good a product may be, we can always make it better. That's why Carrier is now, and always has been, the most innovative and respected name in the indoor comfort industry.
