Rebates
For the latest rebate information, it is best to check government and manufacturer sites. Be sure to check Canadian and Ontario sites, because the rebates do vary based on location. For Canadian Government rebate information, Natural Resources Canada's Office of Energy Efficiency has plenty of information and links to help research rebates in your area.
The federal goevernment's ecoENERGY Retrofit program is back from June 6, 2011 to March 31, 2012. The program includes grants for furnaces, geothermal units, air source heat pumps, air conditioners, and ventilations systems. More information available here.
